First annual summer secret xanta!!!!

We're running our first ever summer secret xanta event!!!!

The Secret Xanta signups will be open from June 1st - June 14; assignments will be sent out June 15th!
Secret Xanta gifts will be able to be posted between July 25th - August 1!

Rules and Details:
-At least one Lunerestian to sign up with! This is only open to Lunerest characters.
-You must draw one full-body, coloured gift-art of one of the xyns your recipient has listed! Lineart may be sketchy and chibis and pixel art is allowed as long as it's at least 100x100 in size.
-For the summer secret xanta you can draw up to 3 gifts!
-Upon signing up you acknowledge you will receive 1-3 gifts and not be guaranteed 3.
-If you have an emergency and cannot finish your gift, please DM Key either on discord (tehshleigh) or toyhouse (keydemon) as soon as possible so we can get a backup artist assigned!
-You may DM key any one person you're not comfortable being matched with.
-If you fail to complete your gift AND do not notify Key to provide you with a backup artist, you may be put on the naughty list for future Secret Xantas.

Prizes!:
-Your choice of astervyrn companion:

-You can do up to 3 separate gifts; you'll get your choice of astervyrn for each separate gift! Each gift must follow the guidelines above.
-4 star pieces (or fairy dust if you submit August 1st.)
-You may ask Xanta for a gift as well! Please list at least 3 Lunerest items you would want to recieve. You may list a maximum of 8 items. Xanta will choose randomly. (These come from the admin account- you do not have to have the item to give to your recipient.)
-A special summer moxyn plushie

 
-You may type N/A in Xanta's Letter if you aren't interested in the extra prize.

The stars shine brightest this time of the year, they're almost bright enough that it looks like daytime in Lunerest! The xyns celebrate by holding carnivals and visiting the highest peaks of mountains where star shrines are located. The carnivals usually consist of games to win prizes, food and performances like concerts! The shrines are often in very remote, quiet areas. Xyns bring offerings to the stars and spend time with loved ones under the increased light. Who knows, they might see a shooting star to grant their wishes!

This year the charity we're highlighting is Global Action for Trans Equality (GATE)!!!! I know people from around the world play Lunerest so I wanted to choose a global charity this year!!!!
For donations (either to me via ko-fi or on the site directly, just send me proof!) you can get pride themed companions!

Happy Luckflower Ball! Lunerest is covered in flowers and plant-life and the xyns are ready to celebrate! Huge parties and balls are held, covered in flowers grown by the pixyns of Lunerest. There's a ton of dancing, fancy outfits and fine dining. The world is just covered in tons of colourful and vibrant foliage, so xyns are often invited to tour gardens, pick some flowers and maybe find some lucky charms like 4 leaf clovers or special coloured flowers! Flowercrowns are worn often, the xyns believe adorning themselves in plants will bring them luck!

knight month

This month we're putting a focus on knights!
For this month knight prompts will earn double currency including bonuses.

Three new Quest Chains have been added to the prompts. One for royal knights, one for lullay knights and one for either!
[To Battle for Royal Knights, To Heal for Lullay Knights and Beloved Weapon for either.]
You can find these new prompts under Prompts -> Quest Chains
The royal and lullay knight quests have exclusive enchanted weaponry, exclusive pets and a free random moodboard MYO at the end.

Enchanted Weaponry has been broken off into its own category.
Along with that, 8 new enchanted weapons have been added.

Enchanted weaponry will be available to knights via the Beloved Weapon prompt and randomly rotate through the shops.

Additionally, including your xyn's enchanted weapon in art will yield a +1 galaxy drachma bonus starting now.
You may retroactively claim this bonus by submitting a claim with a link to each piece that includes the 'bie.

Corrupted vexyn event

A dangerous, corrupted vexyn has been seen by scout xyns roaming Lunerest, wreaking havoc!

Can your knight help save them?

For each week that goes by without the corrupted vexyn being healed, a game feature will be disabled!
Entries will also enter you into a raffle to win the corrupted vexyn as a semicustom!

Happy 4/20 to those who celebrate! ;'3

I have a mini-lore drop of some fun plants in the Lunerest universe and a 4/20 themed sale by me and some GAs hehe.

Sunburst Flower

A flower that looks similar to an Earth sunflower, but don’t be deceived! These darker flowers quickly absorb tons of sunlight when the sun comes out. Afterwards, they’re supercharged and spread their seeds by gently bursting them out! Xyns seek them out after they’re supercharged because when consumed- they give a huge amount of energy for a few hours! The Sunburst Flower can be used medicinally in teas but a lot of xyns just seek them out to consume for fun.

Mooncheer

A cup-like flower that grows rarely in valleys between hills in Lunerest. These pale flowers have powerful little moonlike stamens that absorb tons of moonlight to use for pollination later. When there’s moonrain, the rain collects in the cuplike flowers and ferments into a powerful little potion that many xyns enjoy consuming. The mooncheer essence, as it’s called, causes a relaxed, dreamlike state for xyns. Tons of xyns seek to farm mooncheer just to collect the mooncheer essence for both medicinal and fun use.

Star’s Breath

Star’s Breath is a plant that grows tiny, bell-like flowers with little starlike stamens. Star’s Breath generally only grows at the tops of hills and mountains in just the right temperature making it difficult to find. Normally, xyns can’t really consume starlight but Star’s Breath absorbs and processes starlight in a way that affects xyns when consumed. Effects of consuming starlight in this way include feeling more giddy, playful, affectionate and may cause mild hallucinations. 

Faenip

A plant that grows in Etoille mostly in Springnook and Autumnswild; faenip is a mintlike plant that has a pleasant fragrance to it. When sniffed or consumed by faefolk, it causes mild hallucinations, feelings of relaxation and playfulness. Faefolk often like to make tinctures or teas with it.

There will also be a 4/20 themed flatsale; comments will open at 2 PM EST!!

Slightly unrelated but we've also added two new faefolk traits!!!!

Large Wings (Rare Trait): Your faefolk's wings are larger than normal and can be seen peeking out from behind them.

Vacant Eyes (Rare Trait): Your faefolk's eyes don't have pupils.

These can now be freely applied with a rare trait sticker to faefolk!

Happy Crystalbud Gala! Everything in Lunerest is beginning to grow and the pixyns are hard at work! After the rainbowstorms, the plantlife around Lunerest begins to take on shimmery-crystal-like qualities. Lunerest itself seems to sparkle around this time since all of the plants are! Xyns celebrate this time with dances and fashion shows that incorporate sparkly material and plants. Xyns who like to garden love this time and take the time to care for their gardens and farms. Many xyns take this opportunity to explore Lunerest since the weather is mild and the wilderness sparkles!

New Xyn Trait

Eclipse Halo: Your xyn's halo resembles either a solar or lunar eclipse.

Happy Rainbowstorm Renaissance! The rumblings of the rainbowstorms have begun and daring xyns are once again out storm chasing! The rainbow lightning and warmer air has all of Lunerest excited. Xyns all over gather to watch the brilliant storm displays, chase the storms or just sit and watch the rain with a good book and cup of tea. There's often games, dares and competitions going on during the storms and xyns all over are preparing for the bursts of flowers and spring after the storm.

Toybox looks at you a bit embarassed, "They're not the easiest pets to tame but they're our mascots for our first ever ArtFight!!!! Meet the kitnix and the moowoof!!!!"
The companions growl at each other a bit, the kitnix starting to swipe at the moowoof. Toybox hurredly puts them down,

heartshine Merriment

During the end of the colder season, faefolk gather together in the Cherished Circle to celebrate love, bonds, family and friendship. Faefolk like to dress themselves in heart-themed shawls and dresses to get into the spirit of the season! Heart-shaped craft offeings to Styr'Fa and those they care deeply about are common. Though it's frowned upon to have a beloved of a season that's different from their own season - some faefolk still go against the current and meet up in secret for this festival to exchange gifts. Faefolk are encouraged to spend long amounts of quality time with those they consider dear to them.

The leaders of the seasons take a significant amount of time to meet with Styr'Fa. Some seasons are more mischevious than others when their leaders' backs are turned!
