Happy Gemheart Faire! Xyns are celebrating their precious bonds throughout this month. Not only do they celebrate their partners, but also their friends, family and companions. The Gemheart Faire celebrates all kinds of love! There are many festivals, dances, poetry competitions and special event nights. Xyns who really love each other present their partners with gems in the shape of a heart to express their eternal love and affection towards one another. It's a love fest!

Heartscharm a tiny, heart-shaped charm that hangs upon your faefolk's mask. Upon hanging on your faefolk's mask it can provide one or both of the following traits:

Heart-Shaped Mask: Allows your faefolk's base mask shape to be a heart.
Heartstamped: Tiny hearts are magically attached to your faefolk's mask! They can be any colour or variety of colours but must remain small compared to the mask.

You'll see more guest artist designs from them and they can now take fully common customs without the use of a MYO slot by the commissioner! You may add on potions to your customs as well.

I will be randomly inviting other temporary guest artists over the year for advents/events as well. ❤

For full transparency; there won't be any applications- I reach out to people I either trust/know very well or I see have really good mastery over making Lunerest characters and a good understanding of all traits.

Frostfall Festival

Happy Frostfall Festival! The xyns of Lunerest are getting used to the chilly weather! There's lots of snow and ice around during this time, so many snow/ice-sculpting contests are held! Xyns take great pride in their art, and there's competitions with wonderful prizes throughout the month. Xyns also celebrate the falling of new snow by having get-togethers and singing songs. Sometimes xyns will leave offerings for the snow gods on top of huge mountains! However, during the winter months, the wilds get more dangerous. There's predators looking to prey on xyns during this time so xyns are extra vigilant to bring trained guards when going out!

Your xyn has been invited to the first ever Crystalnight Ball! Xyns gather from all over Lunerest to dance and party the nights away. Not only are xyns there to make new friends or meet up with old friends from far away; xyns look for romance, business partners and whisper secrets among each other. Everyxyn is adorned in jewelry, crystals and ribbons and there are tons of performances by different xyns. There's group moonbathing, dancing and even attendance from the queens and other royalty. The ball is also heavily guarded since corruption beasts tend to be more active during the wintry months.

Draw your xyn attending the Crystalnight Ball. Are they making new connections? Meeting up with old ones? Partying? Maybe they're on guard duty?

HELLO!!!! Wow it's been a really intense year full of changes for me but I'm finally starting to settle into my new life here and I have PLANS!!!!

-I'm going to try to even out the limited traits available per festival, that means some festivals are going to get MORE traits than others and some won't be getting new traits at all! (Gemheart Faire, for example, has the max amount of potions I want to have so it won't be getting any new traits this year.)

Snowlight Bash

Happy Snowlight Bash everyone! It's starting to get cold outside and snow, but the xyns are still out and about nonetheless! There are beautiful auroras floating in the sky constantly, so a lot of xyns spend time outside following the auroras. Xyns are known to exchange gifts, cards and other treats around this time! The early snow brings cozy clothes into fashion and xyns are always trying to look fabulous! Sledding, snowxyn making and cocoa competitions are starting, the main cities are decorated with lights, xyns love this jolly season!

Happy Cozyhearth Gathering everyone! It is once again time for xyns to gather and celebrate fire, warmth and togetherness! Fire elements are extra strong and xyns are gathering around for huge campfires, stories and carnivals with games themed around flames. There are firebreathing contests, potlucks, ring toss games, sweets, it's all around a wonderful time and xyns are encouraged to spend time with those they love.

Brighthollow Banquet

Happy Brighthollow Banquet, everyxyn! During the Brighthollow Banquet, there are large harvests of the fruits, flowers and vegetables unique to Lunerest. There’s often great banquets and balls to attend. Rogue spirits float through the air and give out tricks and treats during this time! Xyns tour through Lunerest, appreciating the pixyns’ work changing the seasons. Xyns dress up in costumes to celebrate their ancestors and the lost spirits drifting about. The sky and forests are often lit up with these little spirits!

Faefolk are here!!!!

Faefolk are tiny, bipedal fae-creatures that inhabit the small planet near Lunerest. For a long time, the planet has been sealed away by Styr'Fa's magic. Recently, the faefolk shrines around Lunerest have become active and communication between the lands has been re-established! Faefolk tend to a planet split up into four permanent seasons and take care of the source of their magic and life: Styr'Fa.

Starting today all MYO coins, stickers and enchanted accessories may be used for faefolk as well as xyns!
Potions do not work on faefolk- to get special seasonal traits, you must use a seasonal blessing!

Leafdusk Fete

During the Leafdusk Fete, the plants around Lunerest are fading from their normal colours to bright yellows and oranges. The xyns celebrate the changing of the seasons with the Leafdusk Fete! The weather is cooler and light from the moon doesn't last as long. Many xyns enjoy this change from the hot months to the cooler ones. During the Leafdusk Fete there’s always a huge scavenger hunt! Ryu and Yuhi hide dawnberry flowers among the changing leaves and xyns that bring one to them are rewarded with sweets! There’s a huge sky-dance among the changing leaves that happens every night around bonfires. Xyns start to sell cozier accessories like scarves and earmuffs and there’s a craft market that starts up! There’s always good food and merriment to be had during the Leafdusk Fete!

Meteorwind Reception

Happy Meteorwind Reception, everyone! During this time of year, things start to cool off in Lunerest as autumn approaches. It’s common to see nightly meteor showers during this time! Xyns tend to wish upon the falling meteors and rush to find where they landed in Lunerest, sometimes there’s treasures and sometimes it’s just for fun! It tends to be quite windy, which is great flying weather! There’s often viewing parties, sky dancing and general parties themed around the falling meteors.

The summer has been extra hot in Lunerest this year, you know what that means...

Beach Party at the Heartsong Isles! The weather has been extra nice for lounging and swimming so Sunspire has organized a huge beach party throughout all of the Meteorwind Reception!
There's swimming, basking, beach volleyball, tropical drinks, dancing, sandcastle building competions, bonfires, stargazing, the list goes on!
Your xyn is invited to hang out on the islands and have a great time! They might even run into some of the new wildlife while they're visiting!
