Starshine Carousal

The stars shine brightest this time of the year, they're almost bright enough that it looks like daytime in Lunerest! The xyns celebrate by holding carnivals and visiting the highest peaks of mountains where star shrines are located. The carnivals usually consist of games to win prizes, food and performances like concerts! The shrines are often in very remote, quiet areas. Xyns bring offerings to the stars and spend time with loved ones under the increased light. Who knows, they might see a shooting star to grant their wishes!

Happy Luckflower Ball! Lunerest is covered in flowers and plant-life and the xyns are ready to celebrate! Huge parties and balls are held, covered in flowers grown by the pixyns of Lunerest. There's a ton of dancing, fancy outfits and fine dining. The world is just covered in tons of colourful and vibrant foliage, so xyns are often invited to tour gardens, pick some flowers and maybe find some lucky charms like 4 leaf clovers or special coloured flowers! Flowercrowns are worn often, the xyns believe adorning themselves in plants will bring them luck!

Happy Crystalbud Gala! Everything in Lunerest is beginning to grow and the pixyns are hard at work! After the rainbowstorms, the plantlife around Lunerest begins to take on shimmery-crystal-like qualities. Lunerest itself seems to sparkle around this time since all of the plants are! Bug catching contest

Loud rustling fills your ears as you walk near the moonrivers of Pixiehome.
"Hewro!" you hear a familiar voice and turn to see little Midori; his tail wagging furiously. The small green vexlet spits out the red bug-catching net he was holding in his mouth.
"Hi thewre!" Midori bounces up and down, "Are you coming to da bug-catching contest? There's tons of new bugz out, I wanna catch them all!" You nod and Midori cheerfully leads you into Pixiehome. There's a huge stall set up with all sorts of prizes and lots of bug-themed decorations. "Look, look!" Midori points to the sign-up sheet, "Thewe's teams! I'm team Pumpikworn." Midori growls competitively. "Who are you joining?" He cocks his head at you.

Moving!!!!

Hey everyone! Key here; Freya and I are finally closing on our new house on March 15th, YAYYYY!!!!
We are starting to pack up our current house March 21st and we will be moving March 26th; our stuff is supposed to be delivered on the 27th or 28th!

Things will be slow until we're able to at least unpack and set up our computers so a few things!!!!:

-Breeding and Gacha egg claims will be closed March 21-29th
-MYO approvals will be slow/possibly not approved until we're back
-Please reach out to either Nopalrabbit, Tav or Gelidity if you need to contact a mod about something!
-Prompt and Claim approvals may be slow
-Changes to the site will be unable to be made while we're gone

For full transparency, we weren't planning to move until April 15th originally but it's been moved up quite a bit. I am really hoping to be able to release everything I had planned for April on time, but I am not sure if we'll be able to finish it all! I will definitely keep you all updated. Stuff and things that will possibly be effected:

-Nopal will be helping with running the remaining Fairy Ring advents!
-The bug-catching contest was supposed to be next month, hopefully we will still be on-track for that!
-The April Fools sale might be a bit smaller than originally anticipated.
-Pixlet Gacha, Sunrise Celebration sale and Crystalbud Gala should remain uneffected.

Happy Rainbowstorm Renaissance! The rumblings of the rainbowstorms have begun and daring xyns are once again out storm chasing! The rainbow lightning and warmer air has all of Lunerest excited. Xyns all over gather to watch the brilliant storm displays, chase the storms or just sit and watch the rain with a good book and cup of tea. There's often games, dares and competitions going on during the storms and xyns all over are preparing for the bursts of flowers and spring after the storm.

Fields of rainbow

Looking up, your xyn notices some suspicious clouds above... The Rainbowstorm Renaissance clouds are usually multi-coloured but this year, the clouds are straight up glittery rainbow coloured!
Perturbed; your xyn watches closely as the clouds move in. Suddenly, the sky seems to open up and the ground shakes with the tremendous BOOM of thunder. Rainbow lightning streaks rapidly across the sky and rainbow-coloured rain pours down at intense rates. The wind whips up and your xyn has to use their magic to ground themselves. Your xyn hears cries as pixyns are swept up in the intense storm. Knights are hurriedly scrambling to help the endangered xyns.

After the chaos of the storm, the ground started to rumble once more and to everyxyn's suprise huge, vast blooms of rainbow flowers burst forth. More flowers than anyxyn has ever seen in years!
The pixyns are having trouble keeping up with all of the flowers! They need help tending to them, harvesting them and bracing against the intense rainbowstorms this year.

Will your xyn lend a paw to help in the rainbow fields? The pixyns will reward you with a nice little bundle of rainbow flowers!

Happy Frostfall Festival! The xyns of Lunerest are getting used to the chilly weather! There's lots of snow and ice around during this time, so many snow/ice-sculpting contests are held! Xyns take great pride in their art, and there's competitions with wonderful prizes throughout the month. Xyns also celebrate the falling of new snow by having get-togethers and singing songs. Sometimes xyns will leave offerings for the snow gods on top of huge mountains! However, during the winter months, the wilds get more dangerous. There's predators looking to prey on xyns during this time so xyns are extra vigilant to bring trained guards when going out!

Happy Snowlight Bash everyone! It's starting to get cold outside and snow, but the xyns are still out and about nonetheless! There are beautiful auroras floating in the sky constantly, so a lot of xyns spend time outside following the auroras. Xyns are known to exchange gifts, cards and other treats around this time! General Art Claim Adjustment

General Art will now need to be submitted via the "General Art Claim" located under the "General Prompts" category.
(This prompt does not count towards the Generalist plushie.)

Instructions on how to submit General Art now:

1. In the top-right hand corner of the page, click on "Submit" then "Submit Prompt".

2. Use the drop-down menu to select "General Art Claim", add the link to the art you're claiming charms for and put any companion bonuses in the Comments. Lastly, click on the "Add Criterion" at the bottom.

3. Choose the type of art you're claiming from the drop-down and fill in the form. You may add multiple Criterion if you're submitting a batch claim.

-We are hoping this will help both members and mods with charm calculations!

-Going forth, all claims claiming charms for general art will be rejected and you will be told to use the prompt.
