During the time of the Brighthollow Banquet, spirits and ghosts are especially active around Lunerest! The spirits range from xyns, to wildlife to some from unknown origins completely! Some xyns can easily see the spirits when they visit while to other xyns, they appear to be invisible. There doesn't seem to be a correlation whether xyns can or cannot see spirits, some are just born with the ability. Xyns who can see spirits are said to have been reincarnated recently (it's unknown for sure whether this is true or not)!

Spirits are known to gather around the most remote, calm places of Lunerest. You can usually find them at the very tops of mountains, in abandoned gardens or buildings or deep in unexplored parts of Lunerest. 

The spirits appreciate being talked to, offered gifts and enjoy being played with/spent time with. They often leave behind gifts for those who pay their respects.

Autumn is here and the autumn faefolk are full of magic!
Autumnswild is full of spiritual, changing magic. The autumn faefolk are busy with seasonal chores like changing the colours of the leaves, harvesting magical acorns and tending to the wisps and spirits! Faefolk gather from the nearby clans to help in exchange for the blessings of the season.

Alternatively, Springnook struggles as the entire planet starts to wither. The plants are more difficult to keep perky, the air is chilled and the spring magic is weak.

Draw or write about your faefolk (or xyn in faefolk form) helping with the autumn season!
Alternatively; if you have a spring faefolk, draw or write about them working extra hard to upkeep Springnook.

Happy Brighthollow Banquet, everyxyn! During the Brighthollow Banquet, there are large harvests of the fruits, flowers and vegetables unique to Lunerest. There’s often great banquets and balls to attend. Rogue spirits float through the air and give out tricks and treats during this time! Xyns tour through Lunerest, appreciating the pixyns’ work changing the seasons. Xyns dress up in costumes to celebrate their ancestors and the lost spirits drifting about. The sky and forests are often lit up with these little spirits!

Entries must be at least half-body and coloured; writing entries must be at least 500 words.

This is a catch-up prompt for the ongoing Legendseekers roleplay prompts. You must complete this prompt for catch-up even if you’ve already completed part 1!

You may do this with 1 extra xyn if you’ve already completed the main path with another xyn. (You may have up to 2 xyns doing Legendseekers at once if you’re up-to-date on the quest on one xyn.)

The remains of the ancient relic discovered  shattered around Lunerest had been discovered, but with so much battling happening, not much had been done to try to repair them. Your xyn has been recruited to support the research and repair of the relics. There are many tasks that needed to be done. The rest of the relic pieces needed to be discovered, they needed to be put back together and research on the material still had to be done. Draw your xyn working with another xyn to help repair the relics to help with restoring Lunerest's moon-power.

Requirements:

Drawings must be at least two halfbody, fully coloured xyns with a simple background.
Writing must be at least 500 words.

Details

The moons continued to dim and supplies were starting to run out. The grass was crunchy and dying, the moonwater drained of its power. Less Lunerestian wildlife was seen and corruption beasts were more frequently smashing into the barrier. The knights were being run ragged between supporting the barrier, rescuing corrupted xyns and supporting remote villages and cities. The good news was that there was progress made on reconstructing the relics. They were coming together as a sort of pillar shape, but it was difficult to fit the tiny pieces together. Oberon wasn’t sure that all the pieces had been found yet either.

Moonreach was a safe haven, the barrier worked incredibly well, but drained Lunerest of magic quickly. Ryu was rarely seen or heard from, her spell was the main one so she was required to keep it up as much as possible. Hush could occasionally fill in when needed but their magic was drained much more quickly than Ryu’s. 

Slowly, rumours that the villainous xyn was going to attack soon became facts. Knights had snuck out and had infiltrated the villain’s lair. They’d seen corrupted xyns breathing voidlike breath magic onto huge walls of eggs. The villain was pleased that their corrupted relic, now known as Thr’zair, had an effect on the queens and was preparing a large attack. Even though Moonreach was safe, xyns weren’t sure how long this could be kept up. A royal council meeting was held. 

The next day, Samson appeared atop the Moonreach castle to make an announcement. Everyone gathered around, anxious to hear what the vexyn would tell them.

“Everyone,” Samson’s deep voice boomed across Moonreach, enhanced by wind magic, “it has been decided among the royalty that we will prepare for battle. Yuhi is still recovering but Ryu will lead us in battle with advice from Yuhi. We will face the villain head-on.” Murmuring and fretting broke out among the crowd. “We simply cannot avoid this anymore. We cannot allow them to take Moonreach. We know this relic, “Thr’zair, is the source of their power, that will be the target during the battle. We will seek to separate them from the voidlike orb artifact we’ve seen floating above him.” The murmuring grew louder. “We’ll take as much time as we can to prepare strategies. Scouts will be working to keep track of when they start moving to attack Moonreach. Knights, immediately meet with Hush and I for discussion. Everyone else, continue supporting Moonreach as best you can. We’ll have more information for everyone soon.” With that, the vexyn bowed to the crowd and went into Moonreach castle. There was some panic but xyns mostly ran around beginning to help.

Moonreach has been assigned to be a haven from corruption. Queen Ryu is working almost around-the-clock to support the barrier around Moonreach. Xyns take shifts supporting the barrier with their magic, bringing high-moon-energy potions/food to the xyns supporting the barrier and helping the lullay knights with the sick and injured. Your xyn has been tasked with helping support Moonreach. Draw your xyn with another xyn they haven't been drawn with before supporting Moonreach and the barrier.

No charms are earned from these, but if you do one, your xynlet will grow up and be able to participate in all activities!
