(Interpretation of ingredients is up to you! Each xyn needs different ingredients based on their personality/element, don't be afraid to be creative with what they need! (Fun examples: tears of joy, jelly leaves, a whole piano, etc).

Your xyn fights along their companions and after a hard-fought battle; the corruption beasts are sent hissing back to the Corrupted Lands. And yet, your xyn still hears a mournful cry when a xyn realizes their beloved is missing. Your xyn volunteers to go find them as the settlement recovers from the attack.

Your xyn notices signs of a struggle in the nearby wooded area and follows it only to find...

The xyn is cornered by a corruption beast, doing their best to defend themselves as the corruption beast comes after them! Your xyn needs to spring into action to save them.

Details

Your xyn must be at least an introductory lullay knight to complete this quest chain.
If your xyn is not a lullay knight- prompt submissions will be rejected.

After finally managing to wrangle and capture the corrupted xyn; your xyn is thanked profusely by the pixyn. They scuttle off into the undergrowth and your xyn is left to deal with the aftermath of the struggle. Your xyn decides to report back to their squad and decide what to do. After a lot of discussion it's decided that the corruption healing ritual should happen as soon as possible. Your xyn leads them back to where the xyn remains captured. The lullay knights gather around in a circle around the corrupted xyn and their horns start to glow. Low murmuring, crackling energy, the corrupted xyn starts to screech as the lullay knights start to slowly peel the corruption away. Your xyn was told to hang back for this because of the previous struggle but the healing isn't going well. Because the xyn has lost their sense of self from being corrupted so long, the corruption stops peeling away. The lullay knights start to breathe harder as maintaining the healing gets more and more difficult. Sparks start to crackle as things start to go wrong.

"We need you!" one of the lullay knights cries out to your xyn for help.

After your xyn lends their magic; the ritual goes well and the newly-purified xyn is extremely grateful. Your xyn is regarded as a hero!

After searching for what feels like hours without any success through the dense undergrowth of Pixiehome, your xyn suddenly senses something. Something dreadful.
Your lullay knight hears a low, rasping screech and a higher-pitched scream following it. They make a break towards where they hear the sound from and come to find a corrupted xyn that has a pixyn cornered in between some vegetation. Your lullay knight needs to think of a way to capture the corrupted xyn without royal knights and quickly.

Details

Your xyn finishes their performance and takes out the compass once again. This time, it's glowing intensely, your xyn can feel the warmth eminating from the compass in their chest. The compass's hand finally points confidently in the direction of Wingfell and your xyn gets ready to go. They journey to Wingfell, following the compass intently. After quiet some time, the compass finally leads your xyn to some sort of shrine deep within the depths of Wingfell. The shrine is high up on a hill with poorly-maintained stairs leading up to it. Your xyn sees an abandoned-looking rock formation overgrown with many lunerestian weeds. There's debris everywhere and the atmosphere feels... lonely... empty. Your xyn can see writing scribbled on the rocks but when they try to approach they find there's a magical barrier surrounding the shrine. No matter what magic (or brute force) they try, the barrier will not let them in. Yet, the feel the warmth of the compass so intently. They know this is where they're meant to be. The compass starts glowing again and your xyn knows their song is required. After performing their song once again, they see the barrier fade away and they approach the shrine. The writing is in a language they don't understand, but suddenly, in their head they hear, "Please help...clean..."
It seems the spirit of this shrine would like your xyn to help them clean up the area!

Finally- your xyn has found their way to what the clef compass wanted them to see. Show your xyn either singing to the shrine or helping clean up the shrine!

Details

Chiptune (or you can insert this with any other xyn) spends some time talking with your xyn upon asking for her help and determines the compass is looking for (your xyn’s) song. She suggests your xyn tries singing or playing an instrument and perhaps the compass with show them the true way.

Your xyn spends days and days trying to follow the compass, but they still come to dead ends. The compass seems to be leading them farther than before, but still… dead ends. They’ve gone back to Oberon to ask for additional help, but Oberon hasn’t had anything of use to offer. He just cryptically suggests that the answer lies in your soul or something. Your xyn thinks back to the day they got the compass and remembers Chiptune seeming to know something about it.

Details

For the past few nights, every time your xyn lays down to rest, they hear quiet music with indistinguishable lyrics. The sounds are a language your xyn hasn’t heard before and cannot understand. They don’t know where the music comes from; every time they try to follow it, they come to a dead end. It’s been driving them mad and they finally vent to a friend about it. The friend is confused and scared for them at first, but they listen. The friend doesn’t know what it could possibly be but suggests consulting the royal professor- Oberon. After all, even if Oberon didn’t know what the music was, he would definitely want to find out. 

Your xyn thinks on it for a while and eventually goes to visit Oberon in Moonreach. Oberon- not liking to be disturbed- immediately turns your xyn away at first, but as they continue to explain, Oberon becomes quite interested. Oberon invites your xyn in for tea and a chat- his office is pristine and regal- but the seating is extremely cozy. You talk over tea for a while and he eventually just nods and falls silent for a bit. Your xyn starts to get uncomfortable as they sit in silence with Oberon. Eventually, he wordlessly gets up and rummages around in a chest in the back of the room. He comes back and hands your xyn a blindingly white compass with golden accents. Your xyn takes a closer look and sees that the compass doesn’t point North, South, East and West but has musical patterns where the directions would be. Your xyn looks quizzically at Oberon and he says,

“I do not know who or what is calling you, but this clef compass should be able to point you in the general direction. It’s up to you if you want to follow the song or not.” 

Your xyn feels their chest flutter and they thank Oberon and leave. Your xyn walks down the ornate paths of Moonreach and holds the compass, pondering it as they walk. Suddenly, a blur of bright green flashes in their peripheral vision and they look up to see an excited Chiptune standing in front of them. 

“Wow!! Is that a clef compass? Those are so awesome, they help you follow the music in your soul!” Chiptune chirps, running beside your xyn to gaze at the compass. “What are you going to do with it?” she asks, looking into your xyn’s eyes excitedly.

Your knight arrived in the settlement a few days ago and although there have been a few far-off sightings by the scouts; the patrols have been largely uneventful. One night- long after xyns have settled in to rest, one of the scouts bursts into the settlement with a horrified expression.

"Co-Corruption beasts coming! So many of them!" they cry.

Just like that, there's panic. Xyns start rushing around preparing for the attack, xynlets start to screech loudly and the knights ready themselves for combat. The knights fall into formation and your xyn waits in anticipation at their post. It feels eerily quiet for a while, your xyn can feel the tension crackling in air.

The corruption beasts are spotted in the sky- they're moderately large, nearly the size of a vehicle and not easy to handle.
