After the rainbowstorms, the plantlife around Lunerest begins to take on shimmery-crystal-like qualities. Lunerest itself seems to sparkle around this time since all of the plants are! Xyns celebrate this time with dances and fashion shows that incorporate sparkly material and plants. Xyns who like to garden love this time and take the time to care for their gardens and farms. Many xyns take this opportunity to explore Lunerest since the weather is mild and the wilderness sparkles!

The Gemheart Faire celebrates all kinds of love! There are many festivals, dances, poetry competitions and special event nights. Xyns who really love each other present their partners with gems in the shape of a heart to express their eternal love and affection towards one another. It's a love fest!

Oh no! Gemheartbreak!

Your xyn is breathing in the beautiful sights of Moonreach, drinking in the elaborate space-rock architecture and magical plants the royal gardener pixyns attend to. The temperature is just cold enough to flurry gently, but not cold enough to be unbearable. Your xyn continues enjoying the sights and celebrations until they're approached by a rather dejected-looking Crowe! The usually bouncy go-lucky xyn's wings drag upon the ground as he approaches you, his ears drooping sadly.

"Hey there..!" Crowe tries to sound enthusiastic but their tone is heavy with sorrow. "I'm not sure how to ask this but... could you do something nice for Cavvy? They're usually having a hard time around this time of year because they love winter but um..." Crowe chokes up a bit and looks away, "Well, you know." Crowe takes a steadying breath and looks back at your xyn, "Just anything to make their day better! Maybe helping them with their chores or showing them some old tome or bringing them flowers that they like? Just don't tell them I sent you...please."

Happy Frostfall Festival

Happy Frostfall Festival! The xyns of Lunerest are getting used to the chilly weather! There's lots of snow and ice around during this time, so many snow/ice-sculpting contests are held! Xyns take great pride in their art, and there's competitions with wonderful prizes throughout the month. Xyns also celebrate the falling of new snow by having get-togethers and singing songs. Sometimes xyns will leave offerings for the snow gods on top of huge mountains! However, during the winter months, the wilds get more dangerous. There's predators looking to prey on xyns during this time so xyns are extra vigilant to bring trained guards when going out!

Fire elements are extra strong and xyns are gathering around for huge campfires, stories and carnivals with games themed around flames. There are firebreathing contests, potlucks, ring toss games, sweets, it's all around a wonderful time and xyns are encouraged to spend time with those they love.

behold the infinite - Conclusion

Despite the Queens' warnings, somehow Oberon got his hands on the valuable chalk-like material. He locked himself away in his chambers for many days, xyns assuming he was just recovering from once again being corrupted. However, after many days, Oberon emerged in a new, confusing form to many.
He was standing on two legs and had toes on all of his limbs. The chalk, if ground into a thin powder and made into a special ointment, had the power to grant xyns an anthropomorphic form.
Oberon was now able to not only shift between the regular quadrupedal and new anthropomorphic forms, but he was able to shift between the regular single pawpads to having toes in his quadrupedal form.
Standing proudly, Oberon announced he would continue to research the chalk to see what other forms could be discovered. The chalk-like material was named Obernite after himself who discovered it. (Very humble!)

Anthroxyns are here!!! Any xyn who participated in either Search for Oberon or Behold the Infinite has unlocked the ephemeral toes and celestial-shifting trait! Your xyn can switch between regular single pawpads or toes in quadrupedal form and they can shift into an anthro form!

• Anthroxyns can have any body type, but their heights correlate with their species! Pixyns can be 3-4 ft tall, moxyns can be 5-6 ft tall and vexyns can be 6-8 ft tall!
• Traits will carry over to their anthro forms so if your xyn has different legs they will have those legs in their anthro form.
• Anthroxyns will always have fingers/toes instead of single pawpads, but can have hooves/paws/claws/etc if they have the trait.

Did you miss out on the original quests? No worries, we're introducing a new category of prompts called Mastery Prompts.
You can do a series of prompts to unlock the anthroxyn/ephemeral toes traits for your xyn now! The quest is 3 parts, however, if your xyn is a knight they can skip the first quest and just do the other two!

Happy Brighthollow Banquet, everyxyn! During the Brighthollow Banquet, there are large harvests of the fruits, flowers and vegetables unique to Lunerest. There’s often great banquets and balls to attend. Rogue spirits float through the air and give out tricks and treats during this time! Xyns tour through Lunerest, appreciating the pixyns’ work changing the seasons. Xyns dress up in costumes to celebrate their ancestors and the lost spirits drifting about. The sky and forests are often lit up with these little spirits!

The knights have finally found Oberon who had succumbed to corruption in the Corrupted Lands. It took the Lullay Knights days of intensive healing and soothing, but Oberon was finally free of corruption, he needed a few days to rest but when he finally came to he burst out that he had discovered something grand in the Corrupted Lands, a portal that led to another dimension full of a mysterious crystalline-chalk. The chalk contained massive power and he knew he would be able to make use of it for something great.

Oberon begged the Queens to allow him to go back but they refused, it was too dangerous.

News of this broke out across Lunerest through whispered awe.

What will your xyn choose to do? Listen to the queens and keep others safe? Or is your xyn curious and hungry for knowledge?

Happy Leafdusk Fete

During the Leafdusk Fete, the plants around Lunerest are fading from their normal colours to bright yellows and oranges. The xyns celebrate the changing of the seasons with the Leafdusk Fete! The weather is cooler and the days are getting shorter. Many xyns enjoy this change from the hot months to the cooler ones. During the Leafdusk Fete there’s always a huge scavenger hunt! Ryu and Yuhi hide dawnberry flowers among the changing leaves and xyns that bring one to them are rewarded with sweets! There’s a huge sky-dance among the changing leaves that happens every night around bonfires. Xyns start to sell cozier accessories like scarves and earmuffs and there’s a craft market that starts up! There’s always good food and merriment to be had during the Leafdusk Fete!

Calling all knights! Royal Researcher Oberon went missing a month ago, he was last seen at the edge of Frostouched Pines on the border of the Corrupted Lands. Oberon was looking into a source of new power that was probably given up to the Corrupted Lands long ago. Please go out and look for him and be careful of corruption beasts.

THIS MONTH during the CALL TO ARMS all knight prompts will receive double the charms!
To become a knight you must complete 3 introductory quests (Royal Knight or Lullay Knight). Once you become a knight you can choose one of three item rewards:

Telestone: A stone that can be worn in an accessory that allows a xyn to telepathically communicate with a xyn they’ve talked to before from anywhere.
Bag of holding: A bag that can look like anything but must resemble a bag that can hold an unlimited amount of items.
Warpstone: A stone that can be worn in an accessory that allows a xyn to warp to any place they've been before.

To receive your knighthood and equipable item submit a claim with your 3 finished prompts and add which item you'd like as your reward.

Meteorwind Reception

Happy Meteorwind Reception, everyone! During this time of year, things start to cool off in Lunerest as autumn approaches. It’s common to see nightly meteor showers during this time! Xyns tend to wish upon the falling meteors and rush to find where they landed in Lunerest, sometimes there’s treasures and sometimes it’s just for fun! It tends to be quite windy, which is great flying weather! There’s often viewing parties, sky dancing and general parties themed around the falling meteors.

New trait potions have been discovered:
Connecting Horns: Horns that connect either over the top of the head or across the front of the head.
Seashell Horns: Horns that are shaped like seashells! Can either be paired or a single in the center of the forehead.
Trailing Meteors: Meteors/comets/other planetary bodies trail behind your xyn as they walk.

Extra Extra Rudy is here with the monthly news!

Time for the Wildwhim Soiree! With the warmer seasons comes the wild winds of the Wildwhim Soiree. Winds blow heavily this time of year, picking up petals and creating intense windstorms. Some xyns enjoy wind surfing, while others just like to watch the tornadoes. Xyns with the wind element are powered up during this time, so daredevils often get their friends to pump up the windstorms! Magic is usually either intense or dull day by day, you never know what could happen! This is the result of tiny sprites and faeries messing with the magic sources. Popular activities are windsurfing, adventuring in search of wild magic, singing (as the winds carry their voices well) and vexyn strength tournaments! Vexyns are usually feeling competitive, amped up by the wild magic, so they compete in tournaments to see who's stronger!
