Dayfly
With a lifecycle about 30 nights, Dayflies nest and hatch in the earth, feeding and growing until the next Sunrise Celebration. When the sun comes out, flocks of dayflies will perch on flowerbeds and absorb the energy for their nuptial flight. During their breeding flights excess magic is returned to the ecosystem.

Glitterpod
Discovered on Heartsong isles, these creatures are nowhere to be seen on Sunrise Celebration day as they seem to dislike bright light. Their exoskeleton is translucent on top showing holographic bits beneath. They roll up into balls when threatened.

Confetti Aphid
Very small, fluffy lightweight bugs that float in the air but don’t have wings. They are usually only one color, multi-colored ones are considered good luck if spotted. When floating in flocks they will gather themselves together and arrange themselves in rainbow color order.

Xylopede
Small glowing bugs that come out of hibernation during the Rainbowstorm Renaissance. Long enough to wrap around a pixyn’s wrist, xylopedes make a stylish accessory. Though they will try to attach to them, xylopedes tend to fall off moxyns and vexyns because they are too small to wrap around in a perfect loop.

Rainbug
These small bugs have a symbiotic relationship with pixyns. Rainbugs will gather moonlight above the trees in Pixiehome which they then scatter on the pixyns that they drink moisture off of. When no pixyns are around they will begrudgingly get their nutrients off of flowers.

Cloud-Rolling Beetle
About the size of a pixyn’s pawpad, cloud-rolling beetles roll up balls of clouds in Elysium Heights. They eat the center of the cloud balls and sleep inside. Their seldomly used wings look like stained glass.

Woolabee
Most active during Snowlight Bash and Frostfall Festival, woolabees love the cold weather. Some vexyns have been known to keep them in Valorise to gather their honey, which happens to taste like chocolate. Woolabees have massive wings to compensate for their wooly bodies, they are about the same size as a moxyn’s head.

These glowing bugs gather leftover magical energy, storing it in their thorax, which will expand with gathered magic. After bringing it to their colonies it is converted into food. Some xyns have domesticated colonies of these bugs for their honey-like nectar.

Slow-moving little aquatic-slug creatures who live near large bodies of water. Lumisluggies roam beaches and shores absorbing moonlight and hanging out in small packs!

Sakusloth
Sakusloths are the best low-maintenance pet. They only really move around a lot once per month on the Sunrise Celebration. They absorb a ton of sunlight into the symbiotic floral moss on their back and it sustains them for the rest of the month! They spend 90% of their time just snoozing. The bottoms of their paws are extremely sticky and can stick to anything!
Sakusloths can be any colour, but always have petal patterns and orange/yellow moss on them!
Effect: When drawn with your xyn, they provide a +2 charm +1 event currency bonus.
