The marshmush expedition
”Fine, you can go. But not alone. I’m coming with you” Xadur said with a stern expression and then sighing. His wings lowered with the sigh.
Zach had taken another gathering task. It included getting mashmushes from Wingfell. The request was for a restaurant in Moonreach.
”Wingfell that's so close to Corrupted lands” Xadur thought to himself. He couldn't let Zach go alone, who knows what could happen to him.
"The more the merrier" Zach said with a sound of victory in his voice his wings fluttering. His Beary let out an excited bark and was circling around Zachs legs. "Of course I'm taking you with us" he talked to the Beary with a sweet voice.
Xadurs cupisaur crawled out of his den and sleepely walked towards Xadur.
"Let's go" Zach said and they left their accommodation.

The lot had made their way to the edge of Wingfell. Both Xadur and Zach landed on the grass. Xadur used his magic to lift the cupisaur from his back to the ground and Zach also did the same with the Beary. Zach grabbed a marshmush sample from his pouch and let the Beary take a wiff of it. He let out a bark and started to walk in the direction of a dense bamboo forest. Zach, Xadur and Cupisaur followed close behind.
“How long of a walk will it be, my feet are aching!” Zach whined. The Beary looked back at him, sensing his discomfort. He run up to Zach’s legs, jumped against them and gave a lick wherever he could reach.
“Oh come on, you’re the one that wanted to do this” Xadur pointed out.
“I’m not mad at you. You can continue to look for the mush” he talked to the Beary, completely ignoring Xadurs stab at him. He showed the masrhmust to Beary again and he started to walk forward. The Cupisaur claimed on to Xadurs back, clearly wanting to take a nap. Xadur laughed, just like he always did. He hasn’t met as lazy as a Cupisaur as this one.
They got out of the bamboo forest and the ground became rocky and hilly. “Be care…” just as Xadur was finishing his words, Zach’s foot got stuck between the pile of rocks and he fell on his face. Xadur frantically went to help move the rocks so he can get out. The Beary came back wondering what the commotion was and the Cupisaur opened his eyes. Xadur managed to help Zach get out and he thanked Xadur. However he couldn’t walk now and had to fly the rest of the way.
“I’m glad I came along” Xadur muttered to himself. He was angry that Zach had to endure this just for some cooking ingredients. They continued their journey with no more incidents.
They came across a temple and stopped there to soak in some moonlight. The temple was a star temple that had an open area where one could soak in moonlight. The Cupisaur climbed down from Xadurs back and the Beary came to sit besides them. Zach came down to lay there. Xadur was worried for him and he needed the streght to get back. It looked like he had sprained his foot. His wings were down which was unlike him and was signaling to Xadur that he was in pain. Xadur walked beside Zach and put his head on his shoulders. Xadur gave him a tired smile and a wink. They stayed there for a little while and continued.
The Beary was now barking and circling around. It seemed like they were close to their destination. The Cupisaur seemed to get some energy to walk a bit faster. After going through the bamboos they reached a lake, beside there were growing some mashmushes. Both of the Vexyns eyes lightened up. They had finally found what they were looking for.
“Wohoo! We did it” Zach exclaimed and flew down, this time he didn’t fold his wings meaning he was doing better. He avoided using the injured leg and they gathered the ingredients leaving some for next adventurers. “Was this really worth the price?” Xadur thought in his head.
