Hold the line!

Electra glanced from side to side as more of what she had just learned were called "corruptions beasts" seemed to start to clue in to their specific location and began to circle around in the sky. She glanced at the two fawns who had lost their way in all this mess, the Shroomkin that had gathered them up, and the ambassador from Lunerest who had explained the situation to her. "Well... I feel like they are being drawn in by -our- magic, but... I don't necessarily have any that would be useful in this situation. What exactly do you propose?"

 

Matka looked around at the growing number of dark beasts, as well. He hopped up and flapped his wings, hovering over the little group, and as he did so, Electra saw a number of large rocks and earth chunks begin floating up around them. "Well... I guess I can try keeping them away by hurling some big ol' hunks of rock at them." He made an apologetic face, as if he felt somehow responsible for these things being here, even though he'd just explained to them that Silkkassans had somehow managed this summoning.

 

"Help is coming. The knights will be here soon. And we can always whack them if they get too close?" Electra cocked an eyebrow, remembering how he'd just told her that these things could just shoot the corruption at them. He shrugged slightly. "We could also just look menacing as possible. Fake it 'til we make it?"

 

Despite the gravity of the situation, the elkh smirked. She could probably pull off looking intimidating. She'd done it before. "Alright Chong... let's do this, I guess." And with that, the three adults formed a protective triangle around the younglings. Matka's chunks of earth went flying, Electra presented the pointy ends of her antlers, and Chongus waved their fist menacingly at the sky! Bristol even managed to puff up as well, standing protectively over poor Pomme! They just needed to hold out until help arrived...!
