Dear gobs...!

Needless to say, Button didn't feel like he was going to escape this ginormous monster that was bearing down on him. As he felt it drawing closer and closer, he simply bundled himself up into a ball without even bothering to slide all the way to a stop! He felt the rushing of wind swoosh across his fur and let out a pitiful half wimper, half squeek as he waited to be plucked up, or swallowed whole. Who KNEW what these things did with their prey once caught! What he wasn't expecting was the bone shattering *CRACK!* that he heard overhead. 

 

Some force had resolutely smashed his adversary off of its course, and the little Shroomkin felt as if a faint light, one he hadn't realized had disappeared, had returned to the surrounding world. After a moment's silence, in which Button could hear that there was still... something rather large moving to circle around where it could see him, he peeked up from beneath his paws.

 

"Button, Button! What are you doing out here all my yourself you silly Shroom! Didn't hear about these big scary beasts?!" The little creature blinked into the face of a creature it had never seen beneath a somewhat terrifying mask, and wondered how it was speaking to him in his good friend's voice.

 

"Buttoooon! Up here, you goof!" Blinking again, he turned his now very wide eyes up farther to find that Yasha and Lala were sitting atop the head of this giant stranger creature, waving ecstatically down at him from their perch. "Look! This is Yuu! They're from the same world as those big dark creatures! They came here to help us fight them!"

 

Yasha seemed entirely TOO excited about everything that was going on. The little brown Shroom looked back down to the other creature who, now that he knew they were friendly, DID seem to be smiling beneath their scary mask. "Yes, of course. From another world........" Feeling absolutely overwhelmed, Button felt the familiar sensation that came along when he was about to pass. Yasha hopped down from Yuu's head and ran over to catch her friend, giggling.

 

"Oh, silly Button! Don't do that. We're okay now!"

 

Are we Yasha?! ARE WE?! XD
