Background:

Empire's and Cotton's daughter. Since Empire always wanted xynlets, it was an arranged union to have a xynlet together, but her parents were never a couple. She was mostly raised by her father but she has a good relationship with her mother, too. She aspires to become a Royal Knight to make her father, a retired knight, proud. Empire doesn't ask it of her, even thinks that she'd be happier with another profession, but she wants to follow in his footsteps. In reality, she just wants to meet her own expactations in herself. She's softspoken and shy and doesn't know how to fight, but she's also stubborn. Ragna is one of her instructors that tells her point-blank that she should quit knight training. While it might sound harsh (and while Epona is scared of her), it comes from a place of worry. Ragna fears that the soft Epona might not survive what comes after training. Eden often jumps in and gives Epona words of encouragement and gently pushes her to try better. She often hides half her face behind her thick bangs.
