Born in  Frostouched Pines into a family of overly strict, royal Xyns, the only thing he was able to find real solace in happened to be his younger brother, Neige. All the more tragic it was, then, for Noir to be caught up in his parent's expectations, to the point they actively pressured him to train in Moonreach and service the Family's branch there. Missing his older brother, Neige embarks on a quest to follow afted his brother—only to end in catastrophic results as he gets attacked by two giant corruptiin beasts on the way. Noir is able to interfere, but even then its far too late and the Neige he knew, the Neige he had found solace in was all but reduced to a cold, unfeeling husk of his former self. And to this day, theres still this odd notion as Noir feels himself haunted by that terrible gaze, directly spelling out his failure.

Above all he craves nothing more than to spread the safety and guidance he wasn't able to give Neige to everyone he knows. And maybe theres also that little hope to one day to truly forgive himself, to be understood and seen by someone.
