Hyacinth was born into a lower class family that resides in the southern outskirts of Eversong Woods. Having an aptitude for magical and alchemical arts from a young age, Hyacinth wanted to seek training at an esteemed institution. However, due to the family's status, and a history of disgrace that came with his now discarded surname, he was barred from being accepted into any of Quel'thalas's magical institutions.

Resentment and an ambition to prove the worth of his skills pushed him to take drastic actions. He assumed the identity of a noble from a prestigious family, forging countless documents and using magical manipulation along the way. Now going under a new identity, through various means of trickery, magic, and manipulation, he was accepted into Falthrien Academy, where he excelled.

Eventually, he encountered a situation where his deceit would be revealed. In order to keep this discovery quiet, he fell into an immense amount of debt with a crime syndicate.

In order to keep his status and prospects and avoid even more disgrace of having his real identity discovered, he turned to a life of crime to pay off his debt. Now Hyacinth works for a crime syndicate based in Silvermoon, where he deals in espionage and political manipulation. He took up the role of a courtesan at highly regarded establishment, as working from under this pretense makes his criminal activities easier, and more lucrative. All in all, despite still being in debt and having the reveal of his identity in someone else's hands, he doesn't mind the life he's making for himself.

Even though he doesn't fully have his freedom, and is unable to travel outside of Quel'thalas, he lives a comfortable life in relative luxury, and is respected in many different circles for his variety of skills. Once his debt is paid off, he plans on finally traveling, with a hope to eventually get to Dalaran.
