Background:

"This xyn's fur feels like silky-smooth cashmere, just being near them makes you feel safe and warm! They smell like old pressed flowers and are always willing to lend a helping paw." Lumine is an older xyn, though you cannot immediately tell by her looks alone (thanks to her magic camouflaging her signs of age - xyns, you vain things). She's seen a lot in her life and isn't easily impressed anymore, especially not by youngsters' antics. She's living a vintage lifestyle in the coziest "grandma home" you can imagine. The living room, its soft, soft sofa and cozy fireplace are the center of the house. It smells of flowers, tea and baked goods, is full of cushions and books, both for reading and flower pressing. The walls are adorned in flower wallpapers. She serves tea in fragile, flowery teacups. Lumine really just wants to live her life in peace and quiet and welcomes any xyn to her home that wants to escape the stress and hectic of everyday life, be it for an hour or a few days. Lumine is a great host and makes everyone feel protected and warm. In her youth, she was a respected knight and quite the defender of Lunerest's law and order. Her name is still known among knights and law enforcers, or even xyns with a fighting talent. They still recognize her with respectful nods. This often confuses and surprises younger xyns who've only known her as a friendly xyn with a seclusive lifestyle. While a knight, Lumine used fire magic that shot from her horn in a concentrated beam, like a sunbeam/laser, melting or exploding anything in it's way. These days are long gone, however. Today, she uses her magic for atmospheric effects (like summoning "fire flies") or to warm up the surrounding air to heat rooms and keep others comfortable. She has a shared past with Empire and Shepard, with them all being former knights. Empire and her were lovers, though the relationship ended when Empire wanted a family and Lumine didn't. They are still very close friends.
