A surprising challenge of comic making is the lettering. All these words and no (or too much) room to place them, dgbsdgbsal.

 

Lunerest isn't pitchblack, despite it being night like... 90% of the time, lol. I imagine there being a lot of illumination, especially in the inhabited areas, like big cities, villages or even the little witch hut in the woods. Some of it is natural (the three moons, fireflies, glowing rocks and plants etc.), some artifical (lanterns, magic lights, bonfires etc.). There are festivals that make the place almost bright as day. It's all very atmospheric and beautiful. Of course, things are different if you venture too far into the wilds. The mountains and forests of lunerest ARE pitchblack, and you might have to bring a lightsource to find your way. I imagine that xyns have a better night vision that other species, but Nezumi, who comes from a world of normal day/night rhythm, isn't used to it at all. There probably was a lot of stumbling around in the beginning.
