Brighthollow Banquet - Our Night

Event: This month is the Brighthollow Banquet! A lot of food is ready to be harvested so xyns often come together to help harvest fruits, vegetables and flowers to use in the huge banquet that takes place at the end of the month. The atmosphere is chilly and the foliage is full of bright yellows, oranges and reds. Xyns enjoy exchanging treats and hosting campfires for story time. This is also the time when spirits come and visit the xyns! They range from tiny and adorable to huge and intimidating.

 

Burying his paws in a shaggy mane, Cheshire tried to hold a nervous Crowe down. He appreciated the company of the black moxyn most of the time, since he made for a perfect partner in crime, but the erratic behavior was starting to get on his nerves.

Where the heck was Chiptune??

Every Brighthollow's they came together to plan their evening and a night full of mischief and laughter. A night when guards - and a certain over-enthusiastic law keeper - where too busy stuffing themselves at the banquet to pay them TOO much attention.

They had only eaten a little, and stored away most of their food for later. They wouldn't be at their best with full bellies, and for them, the real reason to celebrate came after their prank night, when mischief was managed.

A low fluting tone caught his attention and he grinned. He couldn't turn around to greet Chip, since he was still busy keeping Crowe in check, but finally their trio infernale was complete! She bounced into him from behind, happily chirping a tune, as she often did when she was happy. Crowe also made an excited noise, flapping his wings. They could begin.

Chip hopped off his back, so he could finally let go of Crowe, who started to run around them in circles, with weird half-flying bounces in between, chattering excitedly.

This was their night! And of course they would spend it together. No time of the year was better suited for pranks than Brighthollow Banquet! Even though, he admitted, they made the best of every time of the year.
