Crystalnight — Unwanted Presence

Ever the networker, Sasha had gone to the Crystalnight Ball with intentions of scouting more xyns for their research. And once they had laid eyes on Hops, sitting by herself in the corner away from the festivities, they felt immediately drawn towards her. Here was a xyn with power, Sasha thought — and so they went to make introductions, set on making her into their next sponsee. But Hops only withdrew further and refused to entertain their ideas, repeatedly telling them to leave her alone. A disappointing response, and eventually Sasha took the cue to back off, but they were nothing if not persistent — they would surely be able to convince Hops with enough persuasion.

Sasha's Letter: Hello, Hops — I hope this letter finds you well. I understand you had your reservations when we talked at the ball, but I implore you to reconsider your decision to not work with me. You have such wonderful potential, and I would make incredible progress in my research with your help. I promise I would make it well worth your while, so please give it some more thought — I look forward to hearing back from you. Best regards.

Hops's Letter: How did you even track me down? PLEASE leave me alone. Don't contact me again. If you send another letter, I'm going to make sure there are serious consequences! I mean it!!
