Crystalnight — Escalating Dispute

So, the situation had gotten out of hand, led to a fight, and got them both in hot water. Kia was still affronted by Augustus's behavior, and was not looking forward to having to spend more time with him — but, orders were orders, and she could not deny that her behavior had been out of line, so she would do her duty and clean up with him after the ball... except, to her most unpleasant surprise, Augustus was nowhere to be seen when the time came! That dastardly xyn had left her to clean up by herself! And, unable to track him down without also coming off as a deserter, she had no choice but to do it all herself.

Kia's Letter: I am appalled that someone of your ilk was able to break into the ranks of the knights. It is clear that you have no respect for the position, nor your peers as you had no qualms about leaving others to clean your share of the mess. Somehow, you are even worse a xyn than I had initially thought — I hope to never have the misfortune of crossing paths with you again.

Augustus's Letter: Such scathing words! There were, unfortunately, other matters that were more important for me to attend at the time. However, I'm sure the other knights appreciated your willingness to pick up my portion of the work. For both our sakes, I hope that this is the last we speak as well.
