Since his youth, Sarii has always been a bit of an outcast, being smaller than most average moxyns and rather flighty as well. Having an affinity for lightning often put him at odds with his astral parents, and their relationship only became further strained following a certain incident. As a result in him being corrupted by Neige, his former lover, Sarii's parents grew to become fearful of their child. Sarii, unable to cope with their concern especially in the wake of Neige's death, chose to cut ties with them and has been living with his childhood friend Kira since. 

Feeling useless for being unable to help Neige upon his death, Sarii started working towards being a knight despite Kira's concerns. He hoped in becoming a knight he'd find some sense of purpose in his life...and it's here, during his training, that Sarii meets Noir...
