Legendseekers 4 - Shadow's Decision

I had a biggo plan for this to be multiple panels and much more dramatic....... and then I proceeded to be incapacitated by heat and HUMIDITY worse than Florida!! (Which I am NOT accustomed to in socal!!) and I literally have no memory of the last three or so-ish weeks X-X So.......... here is an alternative, much less done entry T^T

Shadow took the news and information from the Queen, and turned to look at his friends. Exhausted and weary from overwork and more battle than any of them remember over the course of lifetime, he couldn't help but feel unable to quell the worry and sense that things needed to be resolved sooner rather than later. Everyone's resolve was ebbing, their thoughts haunted in the interim, and doubt beginning to grow unchecked. He couldn't help himself.... he couldn't wait for the answers here. He needed to get back into the field, put his paws to use. But he wouldn't put anyone else in danger anymore. Quietly, amongst the organized chaos of healers tending to warriors and scholars dashing here and there, comparing notes and sending their results to share with others... Shadow made his way to the outskirts and out of the city, to seek out the villain that was hounding them all. Weapons and shield in tow, he and his animal companions flew off, low to the ground, until they were out of sight of the city...
