Encore!

Percy, Seren and the luminuki marched steadily in the direction of the clef compass. While Percy was carefully watching the compass, Seren was humming a jolly tune. It took some time, but then they realised what it was: an upbeat rendition of the song they'd heard their mentor singing back in the Frostouched Pines! Feeling grateful, both for Seren's help as well as that of the mysterious xyn, Percy decided to hum along.

Time passed incredibly quickly as the two occupied themselves with  humming. Before they knew it,the young duo found themselves in a forest near Wingfell. They marvelled at the sights as they travelled along the path covered with golden leaves. The trees’ silver bark shimmered under the moonlight, as if guiding them deeper into the forest.

Eventually, a monument came into sight.
“Oh, would you look at that!” Seren gasped in awe.

The luminuki clambered up Percy's back, flopping on his head in order to get a better look. It wagged its tail with glee.

However, their excitement quickly changed to confusion when they found themselves walking straight into… an invisible wall.  The luminuki wailed as it hit its head, and rolled down Percy's back once more. He gingerly picked it up, coddled it a little, and placed it back in his scarf. 

“I think we should try singing!” Seren suggested.
“Again? …Well, it's been working well so far, so…” Percy took a deep breath. Here goes nothing!”
And so...The two sang. It admittedly wasn't as good as their mentor, but all things considered, it wasn't terrible either! Just when percy was starting to feel self-conscious about his lack of singing ability, he heard a low humming sound. And then - the wall disappeared!

“We did it!”
Percy smiled at Seren, hoping they wouldn't have to go through all of this embarrassment a second time. 

“...Hm.”
“What's the matter, friend?”
“I was expecting something more… grand. This place, doesn't it look a bit… plain? Dusty?”
“I suppose all ancient ruins are like that…” Seren murmured, before nodding. “I understand! Let's tidy this place up a little, then!”

Almost as if in response, the clef compass pulsed and spun in place. As the two xyns worked hard to clean and polish the ruins, the more the compass shimmered. Eventually, both it and the rock formation - really a shrine - shone gold, like the sun.
