i came up with a headcanon that Faefolk are taught by Styr'Fa and their own kind to sing a universal song (a lullaby) heard throughout Etoille; each individual sings this song a little differently, much like how each xyn posesses a different soul song. I like to think that Faefolk subconsciously hold onto the remnants of their Soul Songs that they once had as xyns- and this is extremely important for my upcoming Legendseekers Part 5 response...
