Try Something Funny, I Double Dare You

This took way too long, but I thought I could do the entire picture in two days. I WAS WRONG 8D.

Event: Happy Cozyhearth Gathering everyone! It is once again time for xyns to gather and celebrate fire, warmth and togetherness! Fire elements are extra strong and xyns are gathering around for huge campfires, stories and carnivals with games themed around flames. There are firebreathing contests, potlucks, ring toss games, sweets, it's all around a wonderful time and xyns are encouraged to spend time with those they love.

I wanted to do the "gathering" justice and draw a few xyns together, but the focus is on Ragna and Cheshire, my two fire elementals. Fire xyns are extra strong during this month, which means trouble, since Cheshire - while not a very strong fire elemental - is a troublemaker and always up to no good. Luckily, Ragna is a SUPER strong fire xyn, even under normal circumstances, and is keeping a VERY close eye on a very unhappy (since oh-so-innocent, blinkblink) Cheshire. You can also see the size difference between Moxyns (Cheshire) and Vexyns (Ragna) very well. I also gave her a forked tongue on impulse, since it underlines her "dragon nature", but I'm not sure if I'll keep it.

 

The bg shows a jealous Lily (belongs to TheWyvernAndTheFox now), since Lir, the xyn she decidedly DOESN'T have a huge crush on WHAT-ARE-YOU-EVEN-TALKING-ABOUT, dares to talk to another "female" xyn. He really is just talking, not flirting, but in Lily's eyes there is no difference. The only thing that keeps her from releasing an explosive burst of ice magic is the presence of her mentor, Inori, next to her.
