Things are going south. Eden, a full-fledged knight and Ragna, a knight in training, faced this opponent together, but something went wrong. Maybe they underestimated their enemy, maybe Ragna has been reckless. Either way, now Eden is on the ground, dazed, corruption mist creeping closer and Ragna is moving herself between her friend and danger.

This is a pivotal moment in their character arc, bc Ragna will end up corrupted and Eden will realize that they return Ragna's romantic feelings for them. The corruption's hold isn't strong enough yet, Ragna gets cured and they'll become a couple <3.
