PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION & ABILITIES

laforet is a slender moxyn of slightly above-average size with the features of a swan: large wings and tail resembling the head and neck of a swan. their halo is a golden lily pad that floats behind their head which they pride themself on; and they almost never take off the eye mask that they don in public, seeing it as an integral to their physical charm.  they are highly fastidious about their appearance and hate to make a mess of themself, and will fuss over the appearance of others they are close to.

laforet is born with a wind element breath and uses it combined with their magic to project his voice during performances, along with other acrobatic stunts for acting sequences. the same wind breath and wind magic used in their performances allows them to change the sound of their voice and mimic anything they hear- and to miraculously escape most cases of physical confinement...

like a majority of moxyn, however, he is physically weak. his key to survival lies in the ability to outsmart and manipulate everyxyn that he possibly can.

BACKGROUND & PERSONALITY

a celebrity actor, dancer and singer on an popular entertainment program on Moxyn TV.  laforet is playful, charming, whimsical, flirtatious, clever, dramatic, and the life of the party; yet in moments of calmness when he performs he is both serene and captivating on stage. 

they are both confident to the point of shamelessness yet equally vain about their own appearance- sometimes unwilling to appear in public if they see themself as less than presentable. waking up on the wrong side of the bed, or having a bad fur day, is enough to upset them for hours.  laforet is also a troublemaker that will frequently test others boundaries to see how much he can get away with. some (like Greyfell) may call them annoying or due to their persistence, clingy nature and chattiness, but fewer still know that he conceals a emotionally intelligent and calculating nature behind a foolish front. like a majority of moxyns, they are highly social and become lonely very easily- they will resort to subtly manipulative behavior to sustain the attention of others when they want to.

they are a hopelessly romantic xyn that is obsessed with pursuing very passionate, heat-of-the-moment love. laforet has a habit of flitting from partner to partner, falling madly in love, then breaking up shortly thereafter- too afraid to consolidate commitment to any of the xyns that they have left behind. they have secretly fathered illegitimate xynlets from scandalous love affairs, all of which they end up being too cowardly to take responsibility for. despite their endless stream of breakups, laforet's favorite month is the month of the Gemheart Faire, and chirities and konikoros constantly find themselves drawn to laforet's intense desire for one-time relationships.

a glutton for treats and will do almost anything for a few of their favorite sweets. their favorite flavors include oranges, chocolate, cream, and raspberries.

they have a soft spot for all companions, and can be seen singing in tranquil areas surrounded by animals that are curious to hear their song. laforet especially loves pwigis for their ability to sing.

Greyfell (MOX-939): Close friend

• A recently knighted from a . Despite their opposing circumstances and personalities, they somehow still found friendship in each other...
• Laforet thinks Greyfell needs to lighten up- Greyfell thinks Laforet is just tolerable. But she never shies away from Laforet the way she does with most other xyns, and Laforet never judges her for her appearance or less-than-sociable behavior.
• Greyfell privately keeps a collection of toys and trinkets that Laforet frequently gifts her- never finding much active attachment in them, yet subconsciously, she feels that she cannot give them away. Her favorite gifts she has recieved from Laforet are plushies of Lunerest's companions.

STORY: KNIGHT QUESTS & LEGENDSEEKERS (2026)

Laforet is a side character in the Legendseekers quest chain, accompanying Greyfell (MOX-939).

The day that the queens Ryu and Yuhi announce that two of Lunerest's moons have fallen quiet, Greyfell is knighted, and the Moxyn TV program that they work for is suddenly canceled due to the number of performer xyns falling ill from a lack of moonlight. Laforet is now put out of work. Upon seeing how troubled Greyfell is, Laforet decides to help her to see what they can do to help Lunerest as a whole (and to garner more attention for themself...)
